The Peg Board
Older students get a concrete introduction to multiples and factors before we introduce how to use them for LCM and GCF. Students love the "race" of the multiples...who will "win"?
I am not familiar with the"race"; it must be an upper el thing; I did multiples and factors with some of my advanced students with the peg board, but wouldn't mind showing them another "trick"...Kathy
