I am a NJ State and Montessori certified elementary teacher conducting supplemental Montessori elementary homeschool sessions in my home. I offer affordable private and group rates. Kindergarten through 12th graders explore Montessori math, geometry and language arts in an open and warm environment. The students and I use a variety of Montessori materials to ensure the connection between concrete and abstract concepts. I also offer private and group after-school tutoring for language arts, reading, writing, and math. Successful students have been accepted to private high schools and colleges with scholarships after test-prep sessions on the ISEE, SSAT, CO-OP, and the SAT/ACT. State test prep has also improved yearly Terra Nova and NJ ASK scores. The Montessori curriculm also exceeds common-core standards.
